Emy Blesio, renowned Italian Yoga Teacher and chairman of many international yoga organizations, organizes the 5th edition of The Festival of India, Sri Lanka & Mauritius. The Festival will host the 7th International Congress of Yoga & Ayurveda and the 1st Interreligious Symposium “Ray of a Unique Light”.

Yoga, ayurveda, Dance, chanting, crafts, food, massages, exhibitions, fashion shows, indian make up, and much much more

The festival aims to reach not only the public that is already familiar with yoga and oriental culture and arts, but the general public that otherwise would not feel attracted to a more specific event.

The idea is to end up with the event’s moto: free the knowledge and knowledge will save us…

 

Program

Friday 29 MAY

• 20.30 Opening of the exhibition and presentation of Nations India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Southeast Asia under the authority of Dr. Manfredi Palmeri, President of the City Council of Milan and H.E. Dr. Warnakulasuriya Ambassador of Sri Lanka

• 21:00 Presentation of the book “La Clessidra dell Vita” of the Nobel Prize Rita Levi Montalcini and Dr. Josephine Tripodi with attribution of the award “Orange Omkara“ dedicated to great scientists.

• Show of Classical Dances of India and Folk from Sri Lanka with fire and percussion

• 23:00 Closure

 

• Saturday 30 May

• 10.00 Openning: Projection of films and documentaries and presentation of Nations India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia

• 11.00 Congress Opening (conferences, round tables, demonstrations, Treatment, workshops and shows) under the authority of Dr. Manfredi Palmeri, President of the Municipal Council of Milan

• 13.00 Ethnic Lunch

• 14.30 – 19:00 Congresso (workshop and conference – Yoga and Ayurveda massages, Round table with debate) and shows

• 18:00 Armonia Fashion Parade– tattoo, indian makeup and learn how to put a sari

• 19:30 Ethnic Dinner

• 20:30 Dance Show of the Indian subcontinent

• 24.00 Closure

 

• Sunday 31 May

• 10.00 Openning: Projection of films and documentaries and presentation of Nations India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia

• 11.00 Congress (Yoga – Ayurveda – Fine Arts, Round table conference with debate)

• 13.00 Ethnic Lunch

• 14.30 – 18:00 Symposium “Rays of a Unique light” with the debate (there will be: Sufism, Shamanism, Sanátana Dharma (Hinduism), Sikhism, Buddhism, Theravada Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Christianity, etc..) – Congress (workshop and conference – Yoga and Ayurveda)

• 18:00 Armonia Fashion Parade – tattoo and indian makeup

• 19:30 Ethnic Dinner

• 20:30 Meditation and spreading a message of peace-love-tolerance (with the Participation of all the speakers – teachers – performers) Closure

• 21:00 Closing and greeting SHOW

• 23:00 Closure of the Festival
