Amy Hollowell Sensei is the founder of the Wild Flower Zen Sangha and dharma successor of Catherine Genno Pagès Roshi, in the Soto Zen lineage of Taizan Maezumi Roshi, founder of the Los Angeles Zen Center. She has been teaching in Portugal since 2004, doing retreats, lectures and meditation workshops. She is also a poet and a journalist living in Paris since 1981.
Sessions of meditation (zazen and kinhin) throughout the day, between 7 am and 22 h; daily lectures given by Sensei; possibility of individual interviews with Amy Sensei; meditation through action (participation in daily activities to support the retreat, as preparing meals, cleaning the spaces, gardening, etc.)..
- Vegetarian meals;
- Accommodation in the house, in shared rooms, if you wish to camp in the garden, please bring your tent;
- If you have cushion and / or mat for meditation, please bring it with you.
PLACE: Quinta das Águias, in the north of Portugal, Rubiães – Paredes de Coura –
ARRIVAL TIME: You should arrive at 3pm on Saturday, 1 August.
The retreat will end around 12pm on Saturday, 5 August.
ACCOMMODATION: shared rooms; if you wish to camp in the garden please bring your tent.
PRICES: 190 € (130 € for those who will be camping in the garden)
