Narayani – One Body One Sound, a devotional Singer, voicework facilitator and Yoga teacher will be playing in London, Bristol, Hastings, Glastonbury and Brighton on September and October 2009.
Narayani’s kírtan concerts are fast becoming renowned through London and the UK. They share a powerful and intuitive dynamic that takes you on a deep journey as you experience the heart opening practice of Bhakti Yoga through Kírtan.
Meditative and ecstatic chants are led by Narayani’s deeply resonant voice. Sanskrit mantras are set to beautiful, yet simple, melodies. Kírtan is an ancient and effective yogic practice of singing together to open the heart and connect to the self. The chants are easy to pick up and give a wonderful opportunity to discover the power of your own voice.
Narayani is usually joined by Jason Kalidas on Tabla and Bansuri Flute or Tom Simenauer on Tabla. Narayani and Jason Kalidas also have an album available at www.onebodyonesound.com.

Join us for a beautiful evening of Kírtan (ancient yoga practice of chanting and singing) and devotional music. Kírtan quiets the mind and opens the heart. These ancient chants contain a transformative power and healing energy. Meditative and ecstatic chants including Sanskrit mantras are set to beautiful, yet simple, melodies. Tim & Narayani run regular chanting evenings in Bristol & London respectively, and will be joined by the inspirational Goma drummer, Tom Simenauer on tablas.
