Method:
– Vinyasa : breathing and movement system
Breathing is the foundation of Vinyasa. When movement and breath fuse together, the energy carries the body and focus moves from the exterior to the interior.
– Bandhas and Drishti
Bandhas are locks that seal the energy, give lightness, strength and health to the body, and help to build a strong internal fire. Without bandhas, breathing will not be correct, and the ásanas will give no benefit.
Dristhi is the place where you look while in the ásana. Dristhi purifies and stabilizes the functioning of the mind and builds the bridge, to carry the essence of your practise from the Yoga mat into your daily life.
– Tristana : This means the three places of attention or action: posture, breathing system and looking place. These three are very important for Yoga practice, and cover three levels of purification: the body, nervous system and mind. They are always performed in conjunction with each other.
Tristana is the key to achieve the self-knowledge dimension of the practice.
