Portugal: Silent Retreat with Swami Asokananda from Yogaville, USA Almancil – Algarve | November 16 and 17, 2009

Asokananda Swami, President of Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville and Integral Yoga International, a disciple of Sri Swami Satchidananda, is in the Algarve, Quinta da Calma, and will guide a Silent Retreat.

The course is designed for both Yoga teachers and non-teachers who want to enjoy 2 days in silence, receiving Swamiji’s inspiring thoughts about the benefits of silence in our daily life, meditation and introspection. When we finally manage to silence the chatter of the mind even for 2 days, we can reconnect to the Higher Self and learn again that “Peace is our true nature”.

You should not miss this fabulous occasion to hear Swamiji share his many years experience in the Áshram with his beloved Swami Satchidananda  who  proclaimed  that learning how to be silent was one of the most important teachings of Yoga and always said: “Silence is Golden”.

Local: Quinta da Calma – Almancil, Algarve, Portugal

Date: Monday and Tuesday, 16 and 17 November, 2009

Price: € 50 per day (includes food and accommodation).

This is an exceptionally low price because we would like as many of you to be able to attend.

We are requesting an additional € 50 as a contribution towards Swami Asokananda’s flight and costs. (However, please do not let this additional contribution keep you from coming if you have any difficulties paying. We will gratefully accept any donation.)

There will be more details about the daily schedule closer to the date of the retreat.

Please share this information with your students.

Registration & Information: Please contact the reception as soon as possible since we need to plan the Swamiji’s trip.
