Portugal: Today, February 18 Free Yoga Classes on the Rede DeRose

    The Yoga Day is celebrated on February 18. This is an emblematic date for this philosophy of life, because it coincides with the day of the birth of two great Masters: Rámakrishna in 1836 and DeRose in 1944.  

The commemorations began on February 14 in Gondomar (Portugal) and São Paulo (Brazil) with a “mega” class (ashtánga sádhana) given by Master DeRose himself (in São Paulo) )and with the presentation of SwáSthya Yôga choreographies by Portuguese and international performers.

 

 

The class was transmitted live to Portugal by video-conference, where about 250 people participated, and given live to 600 apprentices of the DeRose Method, in the city of São Paulo – Brazil, counting with people coming from all the States of Brazil, and from Argentina, Peru, Mexico, United States and Europe. 

It was a meeting of beautiful people that intends to cultivate a healthy and happy lifestyle. In São Paulo the night finished with a Clean Party, exempt from alcohol, tobacco and drugs but watered with a lot of happiness and energy. In Portugal there be will also a Clean Party, next Saturday 21, in the city of Faro – Algarve.

Today, February 18, Yoga Day, there is open school, in all the Units the DeRose Method across Portugal, with free classes for who wants to try.
