Laura Williams está muito feliz por anunciar a criação de duas oficinas para explorar a enorme diversidade de plantas comestíveis que crescem espontaneamente em Portugal. As oficinas terão lugar na lindíssima Quinta da Mizarela, o centro do Projecto Vida Desperta…
As oficinas serão focadas em plantas silvestres comestíveis e medicinais e em algumas árvores. Haverá muito conteúdo prático, com muito tempo dedicado à identificação, colheita e prova das diferentes plantas. Iremos também discutir os vários benefícios da plantação destas ervas e o valor nutricional de cada planta.

Edible Wild Greens – An Introduction to Foraging
I am very happy to announce two new workshops to explore the huge diversity of edible plants growing wild in Portugal. The workshops will be held here at the beautiful Quinta da Mizarela, the hub of the Awakened Life Project
Focusing on edible and medicinal wild herbaceous plants and some trees the days will be immensely practical with a lot of time given to identifying, collecting and tasting the different plants. We will also discuss the many benefits of foraging and of nutritional content of the individual plants.
